Seems like it. I've also tested it and haven't been kicked while tabbed out doing something else.

98% of people aren't going to use macros for something like this, so it's a solution on a statistical level. They could also simply ban people for evading their game systems if they wanted to, but I don't think that will be necessary in this case.

If someone is that desperate to keep the game open 24/7 so that they can stop others getting in instead of themselves, they'll find a way to do that.

I just find it hilarious how desperate people can be to play this one game that they'll literally keep their computer and game running constantly just so they don't have to wait a few minutes to get in. Especially now when their server issues have been improved a lot.

Feels kinda like loser behavior, ngl. Though not for everyone.

No, you misread. If you don't extract at least once while using the return to ship function from the escape menu, you get kicked.

So:

I tried using g hub for my logitech mouse, but gamegaurd disabled whatever keybindings I had for it.

It doesn't have to stop everyone it just has to stop some people to allow more people in which most people won't bother setting up a macro because if you set up a macro you now can't use your PC for other things plus there's no reason for a macro steam players have a work around to instantly get in the game.

They really need to implement a fifteen minute auto kick if you've not left your ship. Plus check for people returning to ship after a drop and auto-kick if done more than three times in a row without completing a mission.

There's no feasible way for someone to automate the process of dropping into a mission, going back to the ship and dropping again over and over. The mission map changes and you have to move around on it to select missions so you can't easily automate that part of the process.

I don't know about the auto kick because I leave a lot of missions solo because that's simply the best way to farm medals and Super credits.

They should make it to kick ppl who dont do missions for some time. not getting kicked by the 15 min afk time is ez so in the end not rly helpfull
