-> This will avoid "everyone" FROM THE GAME unless in your STEAM FRIEND list, to join.
-Put yourself INVISIBLE from steam
-> This will block ALSO any STEAM FRIEND to join too unless you send an invitation as they will not see what you are doing.
-Disable Friend Game share "view"
-> This will make you appear as you are playing NOTHING and so people can't join you unless invited.
(i don't remember how to do it right now)
Well the first two I'm already doing and while they are working I find it stupid that a game has no option to turn it to invite only without extra steps that force you into appearing online just to avoid unwanted guests for that one session
The last one I haven't done yet, might aswell do this instead of the others, thank you anyways! I just really dislike that you have to "pretend" you aren't online to get privacy that is weird, especially if you are offline you leave no room of being asked for playing together but when online you can't even wait for friends you'd ask to join because others just come along to take the slot, poor choice to not include such a basic thing to the game.
I totally get that T_T Like they are still friends in your list but you want to manage with whom you play and when and not being forced to kick friends that might be offended on it. I've had one not even asking me, joining when I was about to log off and then asking me why I log off just because they join and that we can play tmrw then, I was like man I just wanted to try the game before seeing If I even want to play it again and not shedule play dates already xD
That's a very weird take honestly. Ever had extrovert friends? You may love them but they often invite themselves because they see no issue in just doing something 24/7 with you. Not everyone can grasp the Idea that you may not want to do something for 1 day, but might want the other day. If the game gives you the option to do invite only, they will ask first and accept a no without any issue, but needing to KICK someone or delete them to avoid them joining all the time is really a horrible solution, it will make you feel bad about it and the friend thinking you dislike him even if you just want 1 day of no talking or smth
do you ever heard that saying
"only when people speak with each other they can come togehter"?
my advice get some balls and just start talking and you will see you have no issues at all.
