But as someone stated before me, it's really not a solo gaming experience. A lot of benefit is had by others playing with you; Boosters and heavy enemy answers, for example. Once you start encountering multiple chargers and titans at once, you're going to find yourself stretched thin.
Some people are able to do it, what's stopping you from doing the same thing?
Playing normally is usually fine up to difficulty 5, after that it requires a shift in gameplay tactics to a more stealthy approach to complete.
As it is now, it's become quite a crapshoot as there can be enemy patrols that spwan directly behind you and call in reinforcements, and this is a known issue by the developers.
The first game was very soloable at early difficulties as well, just don't expect to run anything reasonably past Difficulty 3 without having some issues or a plan in place for situations.
Either this is an attempt to troll/derail, but I'll bite just in case it's not.
So you solo with the starting equipment? If not would that then mean you need time and experience aka, not a new player, to solo? This is directed not as the game isn't solo able, but as a new player.
Either way does not matter tbh, quick play as suggested by another player is an awesome idea. I'm sure that'll fix this short term issue till I level up and unlock better things.
Strategrams, cluster bomb, airstrike are pretty good. If your getting chased by a horde, throw one down your foot and just run. I can get like 20-30 kills or even the entire horde that way. Just know you don't have to kill every single bug, cuz kills don't give you anything so just kill maybe the ones like the hunters or the bugs are gonna be in your way and just do the obj whenever you have the chance, could be like lead the horde away from the obj then run back to it do as much as possible then lead the horde away and run back.
I say get over whatever fear or reason you can't play with strangers and just try it
Time and experience aren't really needed if you can grasp the mechanic and AI pattern within a few hours. The rests lie on your micro skill and reflex.
But if you want to have fun, do multiplayer.
