Helldivers 2 is dying

Since it peaked on the 24th of Feb with 458k players, it's already down to 310k players last night. That's a loss of ~33% of its playerbase in 3 weeks! GAME IS DYING!!!!!!! Everyone run over there and post!

Edit: I'm not dissing HD2. I posted this on Darktide forums as a joke, because half the posts are about how Darktide is a dead game and Helldivers 2 is the bestest gamest everest to existest. Not sure why they moved it to Helldivers 2 forum. Maybe to annoy people here instead?

hd2 is an okay game. nothing more. its ultra average, ultra mid, a game for total normies. im not suprised its already in decline.

just like any new game , its only shiny and new for so long. Its a fun game to coop w friends but gets stale very quick. They will release new stuff and numbers will go back up.

It's got good emergent gameplay and its fun. It's a more 'generic' setting than warhammer 40k but that's usually the case for most. What matters is the gameplay.

There is one reason not to play Helldivers, the absolute cancer of an anti-cheat engine, while not taking ANY actions against cheaters.

And nice timing for that thread while Darktide runs worse than in months. Lag, worst hitreg, worst collision, still no friendly fire, dodging fully worthless today.

Helldivers could gladly wipe the floor with darktide, if it was not for that absolute cancer of an anti-security engine.

No, you are correct. It was a lil joke. I think the "comment is awaiting analysis" was due to the topic being moved to Helldivers 2 forum.

anything above 5k is literally top 50 or so on steam.
