COOP Only / Matchmaking?

All my gamer buddies grew up and got families, no time to game, if this game is coop only does it have any decent matchmaking or your sol?

It's been a bit buggy but if you can get into games you'll usually be able to play a few rounds. In all honesty I've had a few crashes as well that I think are related to the matchmaking but the game is fun enough that I can personally look past these launch issues.

Don't forget: two hour refund. Check it out and see if you like it and (more importantly) if it's gonna work for you :)

When you choose a mission and just before you go into your pod, it opens up match matching & people join you. Or when you are in a match you can place down a SOS beacon and allows people to join you. hope that answers your question.

you can do both, once the servers are fixed it will be like the first one where you can join a premission or more focus on missions that are in progress like a guardian angel. As of right now the second one not working as well and ive only been able to help out in some ways to people. The missions are crazy at a higher difficulty but once the playerbase reaches a higher level medium you will have more "veterans" joining in progress missions for some quick resources. The final difficulty are only for upgrading your character to the complete max through ship upgrades which help reduce your stratagem call ins cooldowns or increases their size, etc. Solo is managable to a point in difficulty as said but not required a bit later in the game when special materials are handed out as daily or weekly missions.

You can also press "R" in orbit of your chosen planet and it'll search for an open game on the planet within your selected difficulty. The obvious caveats are there when using quick play, you'll either hit a good team comp with efficient players or you simply won't and will suffer for the sake of Democracy.

Though, it's likely to fail atm with the servers being a bit brittle.

It's enjoyable when it works and you find a competent random group, but sucks massively when you're out of sync and airstriking each other for a Behemoth kill
