Are you guys playing using kb+m or controller?

I can aim pretty well and enter stratagem combos fast with kb+m but after playing for 34hrs over the last 3 days my fingers & shoulders are kinda strained so I was thinking of switching to controller for a while to see how well I can play.

Anyone here playing with controller?

I play with analog stick keypad (azeron cyborg) and mouse. the game supports simultaneous use of gamepad and keyboard/mouse. So when I input stratagem commands, I run backward, using my mousehand for input on my keypad.

Controller. It works fine, but bindings on the keypad are currently broken, so I can't play on KBM unfortunately.

Controller, for the same reasons you mentioned.
I've been gaming with kb+mouse my whole life but its been around 1 year since I'm starting having a lot of pain in my arm which made me transition to controller whenever I can.

I gotta be honest, the controller has its advantages in this game, but damn if I suck at aiming with it :D
seems the aim assist is pretty much non existent unfortunately... so if you're okayish with aiming then go for it, after all this game doesnt require any crazy aiming skill at all

KB+M but I do support my disabled Helldivers who don't have full use of their faculties using controllers... just be careful I wouldn't want to have to report you as a cyborg sympathizer to the authorities.

Personally, I much prefer mouse aiming for first- or third-person shooters, but I'm not a kbm purist, if there is benefit in using a controller input scheme or analog movement I'll happily reach for my controller instead.

Started on controller, felt okay. Moved to m/kb and it just feels better. Shooters really benefit from that 1:1 aim of zero-order control, even with (especially with!) the reticle-lag in Helldivers.

Xbox Elite Series 2 and the rumble effects are worth using a controller.

Nothing beats the feel of artillery slamming into the ground near you or the incoming charge of a bug
