More players?

Why isn't there an option to have more than 4 players? Idk why most devs who make a coop game feel the need to make it 4 player only when it could be more. Is there a mod or something or can the devs make it to at least 6 players?

because helldivers 1 was 4 players so naturally number 2 is 4 players because thats the way it is you can always make your own game and add more players

If they made the game Extremely harder and made the maps a lot larger would be cool for an 8 man event like the division with 2 squads working together and meeting and exfil

Just like Monster Hunter World, I feel this game is best when you're 3 instead of 4.

Yeah i think it would be awesome to like 1 up to 8 or 10 players,

But need to like only squad leaders or only one stratag each...
Also a mode where players control enemy and stuff... this game is amazing and still have alot of potential

And no, you can't choose how many people join. That's exactly the problem.

I’d like to see up to 6 personally. My main friendship group is 5 and if everyone is on playing as a 2&3 or leaving out the 5th feels ♥♥♥♥. I understand balance etc but doesn’t seem outside the realms of possibility especially if instead of just making the enemies harder it increased cooldowns etc. certainly doesn’t feel insurmountable. Enjoying the game either way but would be a very welcome addition IMO.

most acoustic person in the thread lmao. all you have to do is set you game to friends only and anybody you don't want in your squad just kick them. this game is amazing but i just as much as many other people would love to play with more players like a 6-man squad would be perfect for this game but i fee it should only be allowed on the harder difficulties.
