I see the game has mixed reviews and the few I read were all complaining about the anticheat, while people in the discussion talk about review bombing.
Is this it? Something's wrong with the anticheat?

Or is it something else?

Anticheat has some people mad - but its pretty unstable for some other people. Since the people who don't have problems don't really go on the forums, its hard to tell the percentage of people having issues. In game player count was about 20k earlier.

There was also a patch, some people claim that means they knew about the problems but released anyway. At this point is mostly anger.

Basically, don't buy it if you're worried about day 1 problems. Wait and it'll be fine soon enough.

The issue about the Anti-cheat is that it is known for having issues with pc. But there is no definitive proof that the anti-cheat is whats causing the connectivity issue in this title yet. But the game is unplayable at the moment because always online and crashing.

Well, lets look at this:

1. This is not PvP game. Who cares if few % of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ would cheat a progression. Like 95% of players does not cheat. Those few % of cheaters are not worth screwing 95%
2. Nobody likes Kernel on their PC. Yes, EAC is also Kernel but in general - people don't like it. And I fully support that.
3. This particual anti-cheat is GARBAGE. People are getting tons of "Hack Detected" becasue that old outdated piece of shait anti-cheat is reading some running app/programs as hacks. And crashes your game. And people nowadays have a lot of software running when they play. Mous/Keyboard dedicated softwares, LED control softwares, Afterburner OC software, RIVIA, internet browsers etc. It's just bad anti-cheat, cheap as hell for a reason. So not only Kernel (red flag) + also it's garbage and crashes games (red flag #2)
4. To the negative view on Kernels now add the following: matchmaking doesn't work, quickplay doesn't work, crashes, disconnection. So red flag #3 and red flag #4
5. Why they didn't send out review copies before launch btw. ?

So while I agree that many of those reviews are pretty much just people venting their anger - I can understand why they are angry.

There also concerns about P2W becasue it seems that many weapons from warbonds are better/stronger weapons so there could be advantage here for people paying cash, but that's nothing that I can confirm. Might be another red flag, might be not.

I personally watch situation and I wait with my purchase (or not) till weekend at least.

with potato goofy PC hardware you know


i wish steam spererate me and all these goofys in the future, like a "VIP PREMIUM" steam access where ppl not can join with 20 jeahrs old goofy hardware

most of ppl with goofy PC's bomb that great game because they have technical issues but they dont tell you that they play on garbaged old harware

me and my friends today and we have had so much freaky fun its like we playin a movie

so much fun ...

but the goofys they dont have fun ... sometimes i wish you cannot buy a game like that with old hardware, like isnt shown for old hardware in the shop, i wish ppl seperated out here like that

me an my friends have next gen hardwares

all after rtx 3070 and upper
i play on a 3080 at 4k , and no problems, all runs fine no single crash nothing all was amazing

so i belive its because of all these goofys with goofy hardware you know

me and my friends have no issues today, / matchmaking: wait until the overpop release time goes over it will be fine after some while

just wait into your ship for other players, dont set your ship to privat/only friends
other players will join you , you will see

just take a beer and wait it works
turn crossplay off maybe it helps you

A lot more than 5% chat on games, it's more like 50%
