Please add DLSS
Come on guys, it's 2024 and most people have 2000+ series cards

If you can add FSR, why not add DLSS? hope someone finds out how to replace FSR soon :luv: :steamthumbsup: :LIS_butterfly:

Because to you, 1080p 50-60 fps is flawless performance in 2024.

because the current AA looks bad at native and the upscaling used at the moment is bad and blurry, dlss on quality looks better than native and you get a performance boost, why dont you want it? lol

Their reason for not adding DLSS is valid. It costs money to add DLSS as DLSS is not free and not something you just copy paste into a game. FSR is free and doesn't cost anything to add to a game. Thus from a business point of view, why add something for extra cost when FSR2 is just as good as DLSS in most cases.

How are people this stupidly uninformed in 2024. There are ppl STILL spreading misinformation about DLSS costing money, needing to be trained for every individual game, needing Nvidia engineer involvement, about FG being as bad as TV interpolation, FSR being better than DLSS in any qualitative manner, and all the other asinine bs.

Like they formulate their opinions based a quick glance of some biased fantard, or on information that is 3 years out of date, and then never revisit the subject mentally but continue to discuss it online for years.

I don't begrudge people being ignorant, but why are you discussing a subject when you have no idea about how it works.

Nah you trolling everyone here, there ain't no one out there who still thinks this and isn't a lost cause, console crusader.

The argument is and always has been simple. Higher fps on a monitor that can actually support that fps, always looks and feels better than lower fps. I don't think anyone's eyes are that bad to not see any difference in smoothness.

How exactly is DLSS a console style upscaler? It's a unique upscaling method and is in fact not available on consoles.
Add DLSS.

Granblue Relink also shipped without it. Crazy.
Its insane to launch a game without either FSR2 (minimum, FSR3 with framegen would be whats nowadays) or DLSS. I guess this is because the game engine is kinda bad and outdated, even tho the game looks nice

Well, Helldivers 2 seems to be built on the stingray engine which looks to be outdated for some time now but if modders are able to mod DLSS into Skyrim which is literally using a 15 year old engine at this point, I dont think their engine is the actual problem here.
If I’m not mistaken Darktide was built on this engine too and that game has all the upscalers and DLSS FG
engine has nothing to do with dlss any game with taa can have dlss
I get just around 70-90 native 1440p on my 6800xt but using the AMD driver upscaler to get over 100FPS. Upscaling from 1080p to my monitors resolution for sure trumps any scaling solution the game has. This technique plus driver fluid motion frames & ELMB Sync has gotten me very high frames/motion clarity with very little latency and little visual fidelity loss.
It was bizarre seeing that DF video talking about it only having FSR1, not even FSR2 or DLSS2, and we even have FSR3 framegen & DLSS framegen these days, and the game shipped with FSR1 only?
Yup, please add DLSS. FSR 1.0 is painful to use.

Hopefully if we make enough noise they can get it done.

Darktide, running on the same engine, supports DLSS 2 & 3. So we can be optimistic I reckon.

Please work with Nvidia to implement :D
