Game Over Achievement
Howdy.

Just started my first playthrough (I'm in the West Garden omw to the West Bell). The Game Over achievement states that I can't collect all the pages for the instruction booklet to get that ending. So far, the booklet has been pretty helpful to help me find all treasures in dungeons and tips vs certain enemy tips, so I don't feel like skipping any in this early stage of the game.

Any advice on a booklet that I could miss inforrmation-wise, that's easy to backtrack to once I get the Game Over ending and without spoiling it too much, its location?

Cheers!

There is literally zero chance whatsoever that you will end up in a situation where you just happen to collect all the manual pages accidentally. That said, the game has been patched so you can no longer get locked out of this achievement by getting all the pages. (The way that can realistically happen is if you just put beating the final boss forever because it's hard and you hope to get stronger, not by getting all the pages too quickly.)

Allright, good to know. I left Page 32-33 unopened on the starting beach just in case (it was a dungeon map and a useless flying fort image, which I had already found before finding the note). From what you are saying, I should "stumble" on the final boss before 100% the game's secrets. Thanks for replying!

Edit: I collected the red gem, omw to the green gem right now.

It should be noted, even if you do collect all the pages, you can still get the Game Over achievement by simply attacking the final boss instead of interacting with them as is the option if you've collected them all.

Ah I see. Thanks for keeping it spoiler free while still clarifying what Songbird mentioned by "you can no longer get locked out of this achievement by getting all the pages". I feel better now that I know I won't "softlock" myself out of the achievement! Cheers!
