Arcade Hero maps keep crashing

I am trying to get the arcade hero achievement, it's basically play arcade hero 5 times, but it seems IMPOSSIBLE to find a working map at this point in time. I have tried 46 times today, 40 crashes, 5 maps that spawn you in but has no way of finishing because you are spawned in a box and cannot get out and got 1 map where I was able to use a grenade to "self delete" my character.

Is this achievement still possible somehow? I spoke to a friend that did his a while ago and he said it took him 3 days of constant retrying to get a map that worked

I got it yesterday, so it's definitely still possible. If you find one that does work, try to die and replay the same map, that worked for me. You don't need to successfully complete the map or anything.

Same here. Just crashes or impossible to finish Journey maps...

Youre gonna have to find a map that doesnt crash and when you do and if you are able to kill yourself do that 5 times by replaying the map.

The least the devs can do it fix the report system. If enough people report the map it should be removed from rotation. I keep seeing the same maps from the same creator over and over. I have around 80 crashes so far and still no success in finding a ducking map

Update: took over 100 tries to get a map that didnt crash, then I just kept redoing that one map for the achievement

This has been a known issue for 6-7 years so I doubt they will fix it.

I finally got a map today., it came out today, I was able to Molotov myself. But damn this achievement sucks, probably took 3-4 hours of playtime to get a map that worked

I just knocked out this trophy on a map with a lake where an enemy will be standing right in front of the spawn point, you just need to die from it. Even if you accidentally kill him, then there will be a building with a whole bunch of such enemies. Maybe it will help someone

After an hour of getting to a map to didnt crash, It was a long ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ level that was a maze with 240 enemies scattered for miles and couldnt even kill myself.

same crashing for me and a friend. i heard dying at the beginning works, like someone already mentioned. problem is most maps that actually load give you invincible and you cant die. I managed to almost get 1 done and it crashed right when i killed the only enemy. only tried like 5-10 times though, i'm sure ill get it at some point lol

This game has been such a long grind and im so annoyed with this specific achievement. Ubisoft always has to ♥♥♥♥ ppl over

managed to finish roughly 15 hero maps and the damn achievement wont pop for me or a friend, this is ridiculous!

edit: make 30+ hero maps and still no achievement

Between their garbage customer support and them purposefully not adding achievements to their new games on steam to boost sales on their own platform, I told myself i'd never buy an ubisoft game again. I probably should have stuck to my guns.

Does anyone know what causes the crashes? I could try to build a map that doesn't crash if I just knew what causes it.
