Is NEW DAWN worth a purchase?

I am seeing it for $11.00. Is it worth bothering with?

i beat it like the first day or somthing when it came out i hated but it its cool and if its 11 dollars its better then the 40 i spent on it

For damn sure it think gameplay wise its a better game than FC5 even if the setting, story and characters aren't. It's a fun game. Lame ending but that's not that important. The main story is a lot shorter but there's a lot of cool side stuff to do.

Oh and the expedition mechanic is awesome. Hope that makes it into fc6.

Enemies in new dawn are designed as an RPG enemy. You get basic, mid and elites. Lvl 3 outposts are fun to take because the enemy is made up of elites.

Thanks all. Heck, it's only $9.99. I will go ahead and download it. The bright colors have always gotten in my eyes before but it's on sale so what the hell.

Yes for 11.00 its worth it. Its got a handful of new content compared to fc5 and wrap up the story pretty good.

Yeah definitely worth it if you liked fc5 just that ending is so ♥♥♥♥ but really kinda ruins FC5's cool ending for me but hey I don't play these things for the story so no big.

I think it's the gold upgrade on FC5, you get 'New Dawn' with it. Right now with the sale, it's only a couple bucks more than the standard edition. Just look at the info under the bundles.

Definitely worth getting both with the gold fc5 version but he already has at least the base fc5 game so...

I am enjoying the gameplay in Far Cry New Dawn very much. I think the writing is pretty poor especially the potty-humor and gay references (they always seem to go together in gaming) which are poorly done and not very humorous. The new changes (tweaks) to gameplay is well done and the map being reused from Far Cry 5 is working well (so far). I am on my way to recruit the Companion I saved for last, the guy with the bow, I have a feeling he may open the way to further progress.

I have not beaten the game yet but I am having fun. Thumbs up.

Its to bad the story is short. They made new enemies, a whole community, and new characters but made such a short story. Its fun to play but i wish they opened the whole map, I don't know why they had to make the map smaller. If they put a little more effort and lowered the price it would be a killer game. Still fun to play though.

I got issues installing FC5 before so I played New Dawn 1st .. so its like a back track feeling now I'm playing FC5 , but I recommend it .. I like Timber and Horatio ..

Oh. Yea it will make a lot more sense after you play fc5. If you like new dawn then you'll like fc5.
