free weekend still works on Epic store and Uplay...

i knost most of you hate these platforms and for good reason, but if you reaaaaallly want to try out far cry 5 for free then you can check these out.

Uplay is requered to play this game either way so there wasnt much point to put it on steam anyway...

No, they dont matter at all.

Ubi left Steam, there will be no new Ubi games on Steam. People need to stop making steam a monopoly anyways, so this is good long term. You will just have to cry about multiple launchers as if having 5 different links is an issue of some kind.

Word of warning: I was using the Ubi-launched free weekend, then bought the game on Steam... lost the save.

So, if you already decided to buy after testing with free weekend, do it soon.

thats is due to the fact steam changes the save file location

with the steam version of the game, saves your game to

(again it says Drive C below ....as thats the drive i always install Uplay to .. your drive letter may vary depending on what drive you used to install Uplay to )

C:\ Program files X86 \ Ubisoft \ Ubisoft game launcher \savegames \ *a folder with a long series
of letters and numbers Varies from system to system* \ 4311


the Uplay only version they go in
C:\ Program files X86 \ Ubisoft \ Ubisoft game launcher \savegames \ *a folder with a long series

try cutting and pasting your save file to the proper folder .. and yes turn off the setting in UBI connect for cloud saves

you have a loooong wait as they already just recently posted right on these FORUMS .. that NO FAR CRY 6 will not be released on STEAM

and there are no plans for it to come to steam

not true, the navigation and how games where purchased was terrible but on Ubisoft Connect it's even worse.
