That was about a hoax of activing some sort of magic HD texutres previously.
Now the developers mentioned these themselves.

So it must be somewhere in the options menu. Anything else would be utterly customer-unfriendly (like activating these in an INI file).
You mean Pseudo-coop.
A real coop is a system where one player hosts and others can join, but roam around the map freely.
Here any client will be teleported to the host, when he gets too far away.
