No, it's not normal. I do not want half the content to be bought for money. As a rule, in such games, free decorations either look like ♥♥♥♥ or very long grind.
What was also bad was the ability to earn money. It was almost grindy. For one mission you got around 300-400 while a upgrade for a armor or weapon was costing 4000.
For me it was clear that they want to give you a lot of incentives to buy from the store and at the same time sacrificed a well balanced game and also gave many chances in terms of gameplay away. The treasure hunts for example - In egypt a must have in my opinion - were pretty useless and boring.
They also put in a lot of work to make cheating very hard. The only way to cheat was basically with money.
Its not a paywall of MT only items. Its a shortcut for the impatient.
yep same as assassins creed but people will never actually read and believe it sadly
Where are the guarantees that I will not need 1000+ hours to open at least half of the visual content?
I don't know about the quantity, we'll just have to wait and see for ourselves, hopefully not much grind :)
Reasonably.
Yes, if a game developer makes money with cosmetic items I don't see a problem too. I mean, every content should be available to get for free somehow, for example a specific Ingame achievement, but if it is only cosmetic stuff to buy for real money it's alright.
