There is a crapload of ammo in there and you can come back to get whatever you can't carry right away.
Definitely worth it.
This is the right way to play far cry.
You also dont need a new gun in this case ;)
What "journey"? You'd have a point if the lighters were anywhere interesting, but nearly all of them are just in same-looking bunkers behind same-looking houses with nothing interesting about them. The quest is pure busywork, and feels like a leftover bit from Ubisoft's "meaningless collectibles that do nothing but pad the game" phase where all of their games were filled with them.
I'm constantly amazed at how people rationalize lazy / poor game design. Though I suppose I shouldn't be...
That. And, in many cases, you'd have no other reason to ever go there and find the magazine if you weren't using the lighter map to go find 'em.
