i feel like i keep hearing this song, just really faint and very, veeEEERY quiet (yet im able to hear it) (also, this is after i beat the game) is it just me or is it the game?

Oh good, I thought I was the only one hearing this!! Yes, I was down on that little island where you can fish, and while I was fishing, I heard a faint song in the background. Did it gradually become a bit louder for you the longer you spent on the island? Not by much, but like a little bit louder...

EDIT: I haven't beaten the game, first noticed this song during a side mission, actually

I heard that too!! When i was fishing lol, go to the Veterans center after you beat the game in Jacobs region, its pretty cool! (not gonna spoil it)

The exact same thing is happening to me, its so eerie, I looked this up after i noticed it and im still hearing it as i type, I'm in the same spot that you noted and it's very faintly playing in the background, I'm just tryna finish my side missions lol

Its true, you're hearing it. It's part of Jacob's brainwashing tactics. If you go to his manor before you unlock his final node and start his boss fight, you will hear the sound loud and clear and it will make you pass out for a second, then you'll find yourself a fair distance away from the manor again.

You're basically haunted by the mental manipulations because the brainwashing is messing with you. Pretty cool touch imo.

I hear faint "classic hits" type radio music all over the Henbane region when I use headphones, mostly near roads. I tried to map it but I ended up wasting my time - I thought the music was being used to direct the Angel Pilgrimage. I now think the music is part of the spooky background like the phantoms. If someone knows how to decode the map files I can check.

Just tried it. You can hear the faint echoey radio music on that island where you catch Ragnar the Terrible. Wait until all the attacks and explosions are over before turning your headphones to 11 :-)
