Thanks God not in Far Cry 5.
Thanks, i agree. They give you dogmeat in fallout 4 and he doesnt die and the story was just as fulfilling. Killing off companions in games serves no purpose than to prove the devs are ♥♥♥♥ at story writing and need to add cliches like killing off dogs to add " emotion"
I shot a helicoper that was on the ground and it basically set fire to everything - Boomer was incapacitated in the blast - I couldn't get to him to revive him.
I am devastated.
Is there some cheat to bring him back to life?
Nope. Wait 15 minutes to assign him to your squad again
End-game wise.. ending wise.. i doubt anyone survives.. but we'll see if they release an expansion/dlc to further the aftermath.
I was truly gutted when he snuffed it.
I mean seriously - technically, they make him die - he even gives out a 'death yelp'.
I'd rather he just lay incapaciated without snuffing it.
It's like Ubisoft decided to save some money by barging into the writer's room when he's doing the last chapter.
"The ending? Well lets just kill off everyone but the player and the villain."
Wrong.
All companions can take damage and if they fall and are not saved by the player, they will die, including Boomer. If you fail to revive them in time, they "die" and become unavailable to hire for a couple of minutes.
Considering the dying humans and dogs that are being spoken about in this thread are all random amounts of bytes that are allocated or disallocated from memory, your statement is fallacious.
