Don't Buy this Game untill Koei fix it. Patch 1.0.1 caused the game to Crash after lunch.

I've tried every suggested solution. Had the game running the other day, and aside for the ocational CPU spikes it was playable. Now I can't even get the game to launch. I've updated windows (even the optional updates) and updated my Drivers aswell as ran disk clean up and updated vcredist and reinstalled Redistributables. I even ran a system restore to prior to updating windows to see if I could get it running again prior to the updates. No luck. Hopfully Koei Tecmo fix this issue sooner then later.

at $53.99 having a "tough luck buyer beware" policy doesn't reflect well on the company. Also steam forcing Updates is is an absolute buzzkill because thate mean that restoring to an older build of the game to play offline is not a viable alternative while waiting for another patch from Koei to fix this broken game.

inb4 some fool tries to make excuses by suggesting some jenky homebrew solution justifies this Garbage port (of an otherwise fun game).

Should have just got the PS4 version.

If you are a tech noob, should have gone the PS4+paywall for online route, refund if you can.

Edit: Shocking to check the forum after playing Mass Effect Andromeda and see people still using unpatched windows OS. Some of them probably belongs part of a spambot network or used as a bitcoin mining slave due to being hijacked through security loopholes... lol.

thanks, however it wont let me install KB3020369. I say's "it's not applicable to your computer." I am redowloading Toukiden 2. I'll update you if your solution works.

ME:A works perfect me, busy playing it now since it launched around the same time as Toukiden 2. I did managed to squeeze in some time to play Toukiden 2 to chapter 2. lol.

As I said in another thread, if Toukiden 2 works well on your PC. You can safely say your PC is clean and stable.

haaa toukiden...2 is a good game but its unstable as hell, i can run everything else fine but toukiden 2 is the only game causing problems for me, i can play wild lands fine, i can play nier automata fine dark souls 3 but this game nope this game is really poorly optimized and that needs fixing in patches saying your computer is trash cause it cant run a game properly when hundreds of other games run fine is complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

My game runs fine as does my brothers. Both i7 and Nvidia cards and Windows 10. Zero performance issues, and optimization is stable 60fps zero drops max settings. I'm sorry you're having issues, but that doesn't mean the product should be avoided like the plague by others.

The game runs perfectly fine on my system (that should be clear when looking at my playtime), but I strongly feel I have to post the following:

Just because this game runs perfectly fine on a large number of systems does 'not' mean that it doesn't have technical issues. The fact that some game runs on most systems does NOT EVER necessarily mean that crashes on other systems are merely the fault of those systems.

In the particular case of Toukiden 2 I dare say that the number of reports of serious problems with this game is large enough to assume that there are serious technical problems with the game.

I am so incredibly SICK of people posting stuff like "It runs on my system so your system must be broken" under each and every report about crash problems.

I just went through a full 10 hours straight long stream on Twitch with the game, went from Chapter 2 to Chapter 5 without a single issue. And this is on max settings, with OBS eating away the CPU for streaming.

In the full 22 hours I played the game, the only crash I ever experienced was the Machina Furnace crash.

If the game has issues on some system, it does definitely sound like issues with other stuff running in the background having some conflicting effects, maybe issues with very specific hardware combination, or specific driver versions.

Heck, I'm still running quite old nVidia drivers here, 368.39
