Game not saving

Hey Everyone,
For some reason the game will not let me progress. I'm on the inquisitor chapter however, I played well into the next mission, but every time I leave the campaign my game loads back in to the same save point which is hours before. Anyone have this issue?
It will let me reload checkpoint while playing the game but as soon as I stop playing it reset my progress.

Just restarted my campaign after reinstalling the game and its not auto saving at all. I created a new game and it wont save so I'm unable to continue.

I forgot I posted this, my fix was to run the game as admin, try that.

i have the same problem but i can't run the game as admin because the Amazon louncher don't open the game

I have the same save problem here. My copy is from Amazon too. You can run it as admin from the folder using the .exe file, but the save problem is unsolved

I have the same save problem here. My copy is from Amazon too. You can run it as admin from the folder using the .exe file, but the save problem is unsolved

Same problem here, Amazon version and even runing SpaceMarine.exe as admin doesn't fix the issue.

same here. played it 2 nights ago and when i opened it yesterday, nothing. no saves. played it again and got pretty far. found the inquisitor and was retrieving the power source. game crashed fro some reason as i grabbed it. upon booting the game back up, theres nothing. like a new damn game

Same problem. But the game is saving the chapters. No way. I tried do play again and the save vanished.

Game crashed after about 6 hours in and no save so back to the start.WTF?

I found what looks like an autosave file (smauto.dsav) at %localappdata%\THQ\Relic Entertainment\Space Marine

Trouble is, I don't know what to do with it or how to get the game to use it. If Amazon can't get this fixed, I'll just uninstall the game, since I can't play it knowing my progress can be deleted at random.

For those who have the Amazon version, it looks like an update came out that fixed the issue today.

Not yet, maybe I can try it tonight when I'm back from work
