How to play SM Anniversary with PS4 support?

I'm trying to get my PS4 controller to work with this game, the controller works with Big Picture perfectly fine but not the game itself. I saw some other posts here saying that there is no support because the game is old, but with the new anniversary edition out I was hoping there would be a way to get modern controller support...

Any solutions/mods? Or at least a way to make this game easier to play on a Mouse + keyboard lol

works fine for me, i'm using a PS4 controller and the game works perfectly with it also it is actually controller support that i know

Yeah no I'm having the same problem. MY DS4 does not register with this game, and works with everything else. I tried using DS4 Windows, Steam's integration, I could not get it to work. Help would be appreciated!

Go into the steam controller settings for this game and set up a PS4 controller

Hi people, I find the solution for the game, first of all in the game page select view controller options and activate the option use steam layout or steam input, then inside the game on gameplay options activate dpad and ready enjoy SM!

Steam input doesnt seem to work for me. It worked on the intro production cutscenes to skip “amd” but not in the start menu.
