I am enjoying it, so I guess our subjective opinions on the game are at an impasse.

I don't understand how the time gap effects its initial creation aside from updates and general polishing. I have spent a lot of time traveling the Rage 2 world and its a beautiful wasteland with jungles, swamps, desert canyons & little trade towns/villages scattered across the world. Most enemies are pretty vocal and I love the animations. Vehicles can boost map traversing a lot. Weapon/ability system is pretty awesome, special abilities in this game are powerful, loud and create a lot of chaos. The DLC Rise of the Ghosts and Terror Mania were good I think, was well worth it just to get the Sword of Transitus.

In my opinion, overall this games graphic quality, mechanics and imagined world still easily challenge a lot of newer titles. Love it.
