Very good question... Not even sure if it was put in. Checking my key bindings I don't see it. Going to go try and find a cave and crawl into it for a bit, see if I can figure it out hehe.

Here's what it says in the patch notes:

Flashlight added for navigating dark areas (hold Focus to activate)

Its not toggleable. You have to keep focus held to keep the light on and even at that its the weakest flashlight ever made.

Agreed. I went and tried it and could barely see in a dark closet even with the Focus Light. They need to do better.

Ive beaten this game twice and cant think of a single area where i needed or wanted a flashlight be glad you even got one, its literally pointless anyways, configure your monitors or buy a better one. I can see just fine without it

This is a fair point. I've not finished the game, but so far have had no need of a torch.
