Arch Vets or people from the Arcs = people who haven't had mutations and are 100% human.
Arch Children or your character are people who are one generation from 100% human stock
Everyone Else humans that have had mutations or genetic issues
It's the Wasteland. Nobody cares about beauty any more. It's about survival.
Get over yourself.
It's bad escapism.
It's actually a "post post apocalypse" where society is rebuilding.
And for the other obvious reasons...Like wasteland, post-apocalypse, fight for ressources..
