Would be better if they sold the DLC on the Steam Store directly

They honestly aren't even worth it, most of the skins and crap you can get in the game just playing, whether rewarded by Community Events or Achievements... and come Achievements have no frigging clue what there is which is pathetic considering I purchased the game directly from Bethesda... but Steam users at least know what they are.. go figure.

Don't buy RAGE Coins, I really hate advising on crap like this but they are useless and Bethesda doesn't need anymore money until they fix the friggin game's bugs/glitches... I won't give them another $1 ever again... Doom Eternal will be my last "Bethesda" purchase even though it's ID Software's game and I pre-ordered it on Steam.

You say don't buy Rage coins but how else would I get the DLC? I am liking the game but I don't see how else I can buy the expansion content

Hello. I got a question - how much is the price of them main (story) DLCs in coins?

I cant run the game now so i am just wondering about that.

If someone could respond the price of the two separate DLCs, that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: I was able to google it by myself after all. :)

1) Rise of the Ghosts is now available on all platforms. Download it from the in-game store for 1500 RAGE Coins ($15). You can also pick up the Digital Deluxe Upgrade for 2000 RAGE Coins ($20).

2) TerrorMania is now available on all platforms. Download it from the in-game store for 500 RAGE Coins ($5), or pick up the RAGE 2: TerrorMania Deluxe upgrade for 1750 RAGE Coins ($17.50).

Stop spending money on in-game transactions. What is wrong with you?

Normally I would agree with that but if Rage Coins are literally the only way to get the expansions then I guess you do not have much of a choice. I bought the physical collector's edition but I think I only got Rise of the Ghosts with that

That's true as of now, but the reason they're the only way to get the expansions is that enough people allow them to be the only way. A company can try to get away with whatever it wants -- but it can't get away with a single thing unless enough people allow it to by willingly giving it money.

If more people just stopped letting companies get away with whatever they want, and each person tried to convince at least one other person to do the same, we could see real change. Or people can just keep throwing their trash on the ground because "everyone else is doing it".

Now -- help me down from this soapbox, would you?

Yeah i must admit that this type of selling content is kinda weird, especially to Steam users, but i honestly dont see so much a of a difference between buying these expansions directly via Steam or via in-game shop. The price - $20 for 2 expansions - isnt THAT bad and there are much more expensive expansions. If your problem is with the concept of actual DLCs, then you are free to not buy any ever. But please, let other people spend money on things they like... :)

Stop defending these companies. They are garbage and this is a horrible practice they are doing. Rage coins are trash and a waste of money.

Post below you is perfect example of why things won't change.

Looks like it will be cheaper to buy the digital deluxe when its on sale than to try and buy with rage coins. :cfacepalm:

Did i hurt your feelings or smth? Can you explain to me what exactly is the subject of "change"? Do you really think that if enough of people wont buy them DLCs then we will live in a shiny happy world of one-time-purchase games? I really doubt that. What i did was that i dared to ask how much is the price of them coins and what i got is buch of ppl crying out about microtransactions. :D
