Crosshair went missing.
Was fine before
and then during a mission I had no crosshair on any guns, made it challenging to aim.
It returned in the space rig and for the next mission.

In before anyone says "you turned off the HUD". Turning off the HUD also removes the terrain scanner, mission control popups, pings, and the entire rest of the HUD. OP would have noticed that.

It's probably not the HUD being turned off.

I did try toggling hud and checking everything in the options, but just had to tough it out until that one mission finished.

This has happened to me as well, 4 times. Each time, it happened sometime around when i was using the laser pointer. Haven't been able to fix it with any method yet, including dying and reviving.

Gotten this bug consistently with Gunner, while all other classes were fine. I resorted to using a thirdparty overlay program to give me a static crosshair, but ziplines are still tricky to do because it lacks the angle/length indicator.

Yes this seems to happen more often with Gunner than other classes

This does seem to happen most often with gunner, and it seems like it happens a lot in point extracts for some reason.

For me it always happens on Driller when swapping between Flamer and Pistol.

Never with Cryo though.

Hi,

I recently found a fix to resolve the No/Disappearing Crosshair bug issue.

Here are the steps I took to resolve it:
1. Go to the DRG local game folder usually located under SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Deep Rock Galactic\FSD\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
2. Open the "GameUserSettings.ini" file in NotePad
3. Search(Control-F) for the keyword "Crosshair" which should take you to "Crosshair=(Mode=Hidden,Version=1)" which should be found in in the "HUDElements=" section of the file
4. Change the Mode from Hidden to Visible
5. Save the file
5. Restart DRG
6. Enjoy DRG with the crosshair now visible

I hope this helps out all who have this issue playing DRG.

Side note: I still have no idea what caused it to change the Crosshair Mode from Visible to Hidden in the first place.
