Ban Appeal To DRG Discord

I was trying to claim a Discord reward for Deep Rock Galactic, but the reward was not appearing in the game. While troubleshooting, I logged out of and back into Discord several times. After that, the reward was still not given to my account, and I was also blocked from the discord server.

Can i get unbanned at least unbanned from discord? discord name: odeliwalfren

you are not banned, you have no history either though. Did you do it on that account or a guest account ?

I did it on that account. It's my main and only Discord account.

I didn't send any messages because I was trying to get the reward at the time

When I try to join the server through Discover tab in discord, I get the message: "Uh-oh. Looks like you've been banned."

If I try to join using the discord.gg/drg invite link, I get: "Invalid Invite - The user is banned from this guild."

Nope nothing, cant even command ban/unban you. Discord does IP bans, do you have a room mate who may have gotten banned? Only other thing i can think of is signing in as a guest account on browser and that getting banned

Sadly no, I dont have room mate and I havent signed as guest account / twink account on browser, I just joined and rejoined a few times while tried to fix issue with in-game discord reward and afterwards I got that problem which I cant sadly fix.

You think I should contact Discord support for this case?

Probably your best bet at this point... Could try joining on a guest account to see if that is also blocked? If its not, i could try banning/unbanning that one

Apparently, it can sometimes happen if you have linked a phone number to your account due to IPv4 shenanigans with your cell provider.

If someone got banned and had a phone number logged in, it bans their phone IP, which may be reused by your phone due to CGNAT, which means discord thinks your entire account is also banned (allegedly, I don't know if that's correct but it's what I stumbled upon while looking up your issue).

Dwarfurious I got an update on situation

I am now able to send request to discord. Yet I need a discord server ID (i.e., 123456789987654321). Can you plese send it in discussion? I can't acces it because I cant join the server

Issue was fixed.

After explaining the situation to Discord Support, they gave me a list of troubleshooting steps:

1: Ask the server moderators to revoke any bans related to your phone number or IP address in the server settings.
2: Try joining the server from a different device or network to see if the issue persists.
3: Double-check with the moderators that server invites are not currently paused.

In my case, the second suggestion solved the problem. I was able to join the server using my phone over mobile data instead of my PC connected to my home Wi-Fi.

Hopefully this post helps someone else in the future if they run into the same issue.
