How do you bridge the lightning between gemini turrets with EM Discharge?
I can't seem to get the effect to link between turrets. It only does the shock around the turret I shoot at. I've seen gameplay of people using it like a fence. Did they change it or something?

Damn it. That makes sense. Thanks!

It's pretty awesome with other engineers because it doesn't discriminate on who's turret is whos, so a bunch of engi's using turret overclocks is pretty strong

You actually have the better overclock IMO. The discharge does a lot of damage, fear, and electric DoT, and you don’t get the ammo penalty on the gun. The turrets can be moved (not recalled) and you can make EM discharge still happen on the unbuilt, moved turrets. You can even shoot them in the air as they travel during a move for a mobile EM discharge.

My favorite stubby overclock by far.

As others have mentioned you need the turret arc OC. It's been some time since I've used it, but the last time I tried it I only ever got to see the "linked lightning" effect a few times. As the arc might be active, but not visually represented in your game. Maybe it's been fixed by now.
