what new weapons would you want to see introduced?
granted, people usually say that overclocks make up the variety of weapons, nonetheless id like a shotgun for gunner. gurken gurker gurkest :pizzonzo:

I'd love katana, nodachi, polearm, twinblade, sword and shield, switch axe, bamboo blade, monk pole, a whip, rapier, thrusting swords.

they should give everyone wearable computer keyboards that can inexplicably kill things by typing random words, like typing of the dead

If I ignore anything logical, what the devs said and balance/weapons that are too similar from what we have I would LOVE to have a :

Needler (from Halo serie), Samus's arm canon, Helldiver's 2 autocanon as well as their Plasma Punisher, a lever action rifle for scout that has special interactions with the reloading mechanism (like having one bullet left deals more damage so never reloading could be fun), a thermobarric explosive, any weapons from the Ratchet & Clank serie (especially the Ryna who disintegrates anything you can see on screen). What else ? A stake launcher maybe ?

An Automatic Combat Shotgun for Gunner Primary. A Tachyon Transport Beam for Gunner Mobility Tool.

A Gas Sprayer for Driller Primary. A Laser Jackhammer for Driller Mobility Tool.

I'd just like more weapons period, for how long the game has been out, sure seems like there is a lack of new weapons.

That's because the devs went quality vs quantity. A new weapon means 6 to 8 overclocks and a designing process to make them different enough from what we currently have it's not just tube with a handle that propels lead in the general direction you're aiming at.

That would be pretty cool, maybe as an engi primary. Having both a 10 round mag and slow reloading would make it too unwieldy for a gunner weapon, but it would suit the engineer's high burst damage kit.

Some kind of electric zap gun for an engie secondary. Firerate similar to the warthog, but it shoots a burst of electricity that splits into smaller arcs which bounce behind the initial impact. The longer you shoot without letting go of the trigger, the more damage you do both on the initial impact, and on the bounces.
It'd have like 20 shots before you need to reload, with 100 total.

Basically, something in the same vein as other engie secondary, some bursty AoE secondary, but this one is on the ramping up damage kind of deal.

What about a short-range piercing flak cannon as a Gunner primary? Would be another use for the Pierce damage type, and would let him play as a sort of pseudo-driller with a shield.

This is a bit cheesy but I think some sort of tech-greatbow would work as a secondary for someone. Wouldn't be a utility weapon like the boltshark, just a heavy hitter with a one-shot mag and low ammo.
