A suggestion on cave generation
I just read the article on cave generation and it was very fascinating and makes so much sense, and something came to mind that I've been thinking for a while over the last couple seasons:

Sometimes I wish that there were a few more "less chaotic" caves. I've come across more than my fair share of caves where I wondered "What in the world is the cave generator doing"? Don't get me wrong, sometimes I enjoy chaotic, everything going every which way, a strung out mess of a cave, but sometimes I also want smoother caves, caves that are a little less jarring to get your bearings on. We need that breath of air every now and then. I'm not asking for the haz difficulty to be less or different, but for the cave generator to generate less chaotic, less jarring caves sometimes.

Don't get me wrong, I love this game so, so, so very much (1500+ hours), and I buy every supporter pack as soon as they come out. But I miss the days when there was a healthy balance in the type of cave we would see. These day it feels too cluttered all the time. I miss my massive, open caves, I miss the simpler terrain. I'm not saying it has to be that way all the time, but more often wouldn't hurt my feelings any.

Much love, Ghost Ship Games, and thank you for an amazing game that has always been there for me. Keep up the amazing work. <3 (P.S. and thank you for the new dances. It's the little things like that that really bring this game to life)

Tl;dr, there needs to be more variety in that there needs to be more simple sometimes, more spacious sometimes, less "fill every available space with terrain and assets" sometimes. It's all too much sometimes.

If I ever feel this way I just.. play a mining mission.
i would like to find
-other types of fossils (different species)
-remains of an ancient civilization that time has buried

On Hoxxes? There's better chances of DRG investing in some better equipment.

Except for 3 complexity mining missions. Then you get gigantic wide-open rooms with like 30 total morkite each, and the passage to the next room is like, in the ceiling somewhere (I enjoy these missions but boy is there some cave chaos)

As much as I would like to agree with Ham, you probably hit the nail closer to the head.

True I guess, although I main scout so giant rooms aren't a downside for me.

But also, if you're looking for a simple cave gen I wouldn't recommend picking the highest cave complexity missions lol.
