^ the most important mod in the world to me
https://drg.mod.io/customizable-ally-outlines
ally outlines mod is also useful, specially since you can't ctr laserl while interacting anymore to see what your team is doing
otherwise everything else i have is purely visual/audio mods which boil down to personal preference
you can but before season 2 you could just tap ctrl without canceling your interaction so I prefer to have the mod now, not to mention you can't do that if your resupplying or reviving since stopping those fully resets the action timer
there were a lot of points before where I liked being able to pull up the team deposit while resupplying or reviving to see our nitra count but can't do that anymore also, I miss that it was nice maybe someone can mod that back in some way..?
plus the outlines don't last super long anyways so it's still useful regardless
-SimpleQOL: Custom keybinds and a few other nice QOL options.
-Team Status Widget: All the info about your team you could want, summed up in one widget; including their shield levels.
-Better Spectator: Better spectating while dead, with lot's of additional options.
-Combined Resources: Shows you everything your team is carrying but hasn't deposited.
-Platform Effect Indicator: Adds a slight shine to plats to let you know what they do. (Fall damage reduction, repellent, etc..)
-Ammo Resupply Indicator: Colors your ammo numbers for a weapon orange when it's below half.
-Custom Killfeed: Let's you know who's killing what, highly customizable.
-Health and Shield numbers: Simply adds numbers on top of your HP/Shield bar.
-Weapon Heat Crosshair: Adds a configurable widget to display weapon heat build up as part of the onscreen HUD.
-Sticky Flame Status Icon: Adds icon for bugs debuffed with sticky flames.
-Unique Status Effect Icons: Adds icons for some debuffs that don't have them.
-Quiet X-mas Spacerig: Mutes the awful Christmas music.
-Fancy Steeve: Gives Steeve a hardhat and some other Dwarven kit to make him stand out.
-Customizable Ally Outlines: Let's you toggle which outlines you want to be permanent as well as offering a few extra outlines the stock game doesn't.
-Better Pickaxe Recharge: Adds a numeric timer in seconds for pickaxe power attack recharge.
-DRG Mammal Theme: Super cute animal icons for all classes/Bosco/Management.
-Ping Longer: Makes pings last longer. Seems to be crashing the game when pinging with the latest patch, wait for an update.
-Fast Forging: Skips the forging animation.
-Rancor's Rig Hud: Adds a list visible in the space rig of what missions are on offer and their Warnings/Anomolies.
by karls beard class icon mods have been fixed for how long?? i need to get this back now!
Just recently actually, around the time Season 2 released!
Best mod ever, right?
UwU
But i'm not sure about this, are you talking about the mod, the quick-switch i mentioned or just general use of the laser pointer?
Because if you switch quickly enough, the outlines stay indefinitely.
https://drg.mod.io/weapon-heat-crosshair
Best mod out there.
Dirt is one of the more meh parts of the game for me so to get through it more quickly is more than welcome to me!
just realized i worded that a bit poorly, my bad
I'm saying that laser pointer outlines don't last too long after you put away the laser pointer so the player outlines mod is more useful in the case of quickly checking team locations without having to use the pointer
and no matter how quickly I swap the laser pointer the outlines go away after it's put away
also yeah this mods good, I've been running it for awhile and I'm still finding tons of new voicelines
