They removed it from Survivor.
Survivor devs seem kinda uhhhhhhhhhhhh.
They're kinda uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Go check the spinoff patch notes
Yeah the DRG devs are really rational and nice guys so I was a bit doubtful.
Glad to see it was for a completly different game lol
lol you definitely don't want to read/listen to all the voice lines removed from DRG then.

Refunding the game now. This is unacceptable
If you want a fair number of those lines back, you can use the profanity booster mod ( https://mod.io/g/drg/m/profanity-booster ).
"Removed the Dwarf voice line "Die like your mother did" because we think it's out of place and don't want to remind some players of tragic events in their life when they want to relax with a video game."
I agree, that seems very uhhhhh. Like, deep rock galactic (the in-game company) would 100% kill every bug if they found a way to do so. DRG:S literally has you face off against massive hordes, bigger than in DRG. We don't know how glyphids really multiply, but it's safe bet that not only have we killed many mothers, but fathers and children and cousins and whatever else too. If a player really relates to that to their own experiences, I don't think that voiceline will be what stops them playing, it'll be the main game mechanic of killing everything, right? I suppose they probably received a complaint, and that's why it got changed, so someone out there must have that disconnect, I guess.
The "seems out of place" is BS though. There as so many voicelines in DRG taunting the bugs, with names, threats, and whatever else. It fits the tone of the game perfectly.
Ever since then the company has been prematurely popping Dreadnaught eggs to prevent them from turning into a new queen.
Uhh, is this just speculation or you have an official source for that?
It's just speculation.
For added context :
Funday Games isn't GSG and do things differently.
They talked about how to handle the matter with GSG before taking a decision. So it's not like GSG was against it either.
There's nothing "uuuuuuh" about this, it's just different dev teams with slightly different approach. It's just a voiceline.
The world has gone insane? Because someone removed a voice line in a video game?
Maybe, just maybe, you're the one who turned insane... no offense though. I've been there.
didnt make the fun i have a any bit smaller.
