Win 10 or 11?
I have Windows 10
Not a definite, but it seems with Win 10, DX11 usually runs smoother than DX12.
Start with 11, then flip to 12 to see if theres a noticeable change.
Wife and I had i5 4440 with a 1050ti cards and it ran better with 11.
Also make sure you check the "Disable Master EQ" box so its turned off. that helps as well.
Try both and compare.
Test both is your best bet, too many hardware combinations to count.
DX12 is really good at exposing system instability since you run a lot more unrestrained.
The only difference now is I can't see anything with all the particles and I dont get dropped frames.
Dx 11 good sir.
