Not only is the Season gonna be around for at least another 4-5 months, but you can still get it after the Season is over.
Honestly that's what killed the game for me, having tasks made the game feel not as worth doing when you had no tasks to do, instead of just playing the game. Same thing happened with Team Fortress 2.

Also fair warning: the plague doctor mask with the hat in this season's pass doesn't change color with your armor paint so good luck visually fitting it into a loadout
I stopped playing TF2 about 4 years ago. I just feel I don't have the motivation anymore to get back to it. Although I did sell valuable items I used to have and thought it was worth it when I was trying to get a starting gpu at the time.
Stingtails and rockpox are no longer an issue, completing the battle pass is the new topic of the week.
