Good Gunner loadout for elimination?
I tried Lead Storm with the minigun and wasn't a fan. Being forced to stand still any time you shoot is kind of a problem when you need to be constantly moving to avoid the dreadnought's attacks and flanking so you can hit its big "shoot me here" light.

Jet Fuel Homebrew guided rocket is my go-to, alongside micro flechette burst gun. Both end up around 54 bullets each, and with Born Ready, you can just swap between the two barely ever reloading, dealing heavy weakpoint damage. It's been working out good for me!

Minigun, most OCs work (except Burning Hell or Bullet Hell). Learn to bunny hop, and to run away while having the dread's ass pointed towards your teammates. Especially if you're using the Lead Storm OC, because lolnomobility.

Autocannon with Neurotoxin or Big Bertha (or any other build that takes direct damage in T3).

Hurricane built for direct damage and weakpoint bonus. Plasma Burster Missiles or Jet Fuel Homebrew preferred. (Again, any other build that builds for direct damage and weakpoint).

Bulldog built for neurotoxin and weakpoint damage. OCs: Six Shooter, Elephant Rounds, Homebrew Powder. useful for vulnerability windows.

BRT built for vulnerability windows,: damage, weakpoint damage and 6-round burst. OCs: Almost any are useful pending how much big of a burst window you want (don't use microflechettes or electro-minelets).

Coil Gun using basically anything as long as you have electric trail for the slow. Don't use hellfire, it's useless against dreads. Otherwise, weakest weapon for vulnerability windows. Better for general damage throughout the fight.

Set up ziplines from high places to low places so you can fastline to kite/escape. Don't helicopter, as that's just an easy way to get slapped with a fireball.

Any weapon&overclock combo that focuses on direct damage/weak point dmg.

another thing i recommend is using the dash perk and born ready perk.

And you should be good to go.

I use this loadout on every mission btw. Being able to kill a high priority target is always more valuable than being able to kill grunts fast. You can kill grunts with any gun. You can't kill a stingtail that will actually wipe the group with any gun.

I like using Rocket Barrage Hurricane and The Mole Coilgun on Elimination. Rocket Barrage works great on the random swarms and isnt too shabby against Dreads.

The Mole does a ton of damage through walls so you dont have to put yourself in fireball range, while also having a ton of damage potential if you know how to use the terrain to your advantage(and even if you can only get one penetration off, you still get 280 damage with the build Im running). It also ignores armor, so you can hit them from any angle.

I’ve been running it ever since the change that came with season four and it shreds takes a bit of a learning curve to get used to, but you can put out the hurt.

Plasma Burster with direct dmg upgrade and weakspot upgrade. Also take the speed upgrade, it's nice.

Minigum with leadstorm OC. You can move by jumping in a direction,start shooting let go of the trigger for a moment so you can jump again, back to shooting, rinse and repear, or just use ziplines. Also dont forget to bring the armor piercing upgrade for it, more bang for your buck.
Lead burster grenade is also very power if you can aim and time it well.
As for secondary, I prefer the railgun pistol (armskore coil gun) with Hellfire in pretty much all of my builds, but both the revolver and the burst fire guns can work too.

LSLS is the uncontested king of single target damage. it is the choice for elimination missions. learn to play around its penalties and you will be unstoppable

Don't sleep on the 3 round Bulldog, punches holes in space and time if you can aim it. I like the autocannon with max ramping damage, you can sacrifice ammo slots for dreadnought since there are less enemies to deal with. Even if you can't land effective shots it can still chip away at them.

Gunners main weapons are generaly for waveclear with some build exceptions. You would want to use your secondairy for priority target damage.
Both the Bulldog pistol and BRT7 can put out quite a lot of hurt. And Bulldog neurotoxin and Coilgun trails can deal a decent amount of DoT.
I would suggest using your secondairy whenever you get the chance.

I would recommend plasma burst missile, because it requires minimum positioning regardless of who you play with. I personally pair it with hellfire for the much needed crowd control between elims

not autocannon, not brrt gun, and not firebomb. being a gunner means tactical shield use to ideally maximise your damage or prevent your allies from getting smashed if they blow their mobility and focusing on positioning yourself so the dreadnaut is usually pointed at someone else so you can focus your firepower on their soft butt.

once the dread notices you, drop the damage plan and move out of the way enough it either loses interest so you can focus again or the rest of your team can all drop the hammer while it harasses you. rock and stone when it goes down and don't be afraid to duck down a side tunnel for some red sugar if you know it's there.

isn't lead storm the ricochet overclock? that's useless, the dread is usually fought alone. nothing to bounce off of and it does less overall damage.
