The reason for the change was kind of dumb, it was because melted gold wasn't affected by pot'o'gold. I just can't imagine it being hard to code melted gold being affected instead.
Hell, I would have been fine if they just left melted gold unaffected.
Thats a good one, very nice.
Also changing an EPC implosion to explosion. "...If the object was previously solid, then implosion usually requires it to take on a more dense form - in effect to be more concentrated, compressed, denser, or converted into a new material that is denser than the original..."
Lastly, forgetting to include the danger part of "Danger, Darkness, Dwarves" with the latest season.
I can't say that I've noticed any of this, you sure it's not something on your end?
Crossbow bolts also have crap hit detection. I remember shooting the same enemy* from around 10 meters away TWICE with a pheromone bolt and neither registered a hit nor did they inflict the effect. Best part? The bolts didn't hit the terrain either, so I couldn't even retrieve them.
*I don't recall what it was but it wasn't a medium-sized bug. Likely a Praetorian or Oppressor, so not a target I could have missed easily considering the size of the target and my reasonably good aim with the crossbow.
Teasing us with mentions of a firing range and toilet. (my dorfs have resorted to topping up the various barrels around the place)
Making the Oktoberfest beer seasonal.
Pumpkins and presents in the caves during events.
Having those damn bats block my route from Beer to Drop Pod during halloween... But the ghosts more than make up for that so I forgive 'em.
Ejecting spare mule legs with the station garbage releases. (After all the work I put in to bringing them back each Salvage run!!)
Giving Mission Control remote control access to Molly. If you're wondering why she heads up a wall through a hole in the roof, now you know.
An of course, breaking impact axe nut crackin.

(played hundreds of hours on ps4)
When i got drg on pc i actively avoided unlocking the industrial sabotage mission and suggested anyone else avoid unlocking it unless they reaaaally wanted to play the worst drg has to offer.
As of a recent update they locked getting new weapons, core hunt missions, cosmetic missions, and promotion missions (likely more i miss mentioning) behind sabo missions. You MUST complete the industrial sabotage quest and add it to you pool of levels to regain access to any of this basic content.
After a week or two of being unable to do ANYTHING! i caved in and did the mission to unlock it to continue playing the game.
Now industrial sabotage is in EVERY mission list.
Sabo missions are the worst in the game bar none. the flow is horrible and the recent "changes" havent changed a damn thing regarding it. The hp pool is still too damn high and you have too scrounge every corner to find nitra, The force field generator still spawns a ridiculous distance away from the center goal point.
Honestly if anythings gonna get me to stop playing or recommending this game. its that specific mission.
Edit: Industrial sabo missions arent hard in general. But there is nothing fun about the mission or its flow. It takes way too long to go to every corner of the map scrounging just barely enough nitra for 1maybe2 resupps and waaay too long to whittle down the boss hp. It isnt difficulty here its just unfun. The rewards for such a annoyance are far too low.
Cool story, I hate Egg Hunt.
