Today on a Sabotage mission I was heading to a power station and I heard some kind of Roar I hadn't heard before. It wasn't a Praet, or Dreadnaught, or anything like a Warden or Glyphid. I looked around for anything in the area but there wasn't anything. This was hosting a public game but no one had joined yet. Not sure if it was maybe two overlapping roars or something, but It freaked me out to say the least.

Organic eyes with purple bits surrounding them covering the walls of a cave. Damaging an eye will make it close for a short while. Also found in Radioactive Exclusion Zone.

Maybe an elevator plant died somehow? They have a very unique roar when killed.

It's just a wall with a type of alien fungus that creates eye-like shapes. It's really no biggie, it's not even remotely off-putting.
