Available in game (without purchasing any DLCs) are only 5 armors in shop? Or is it possible to find some more, cause those 5 i find boring and straight ugly. All of them + 90% of paints available are pure awfulness :x

MK 1-5 + Scale Brigade, so I believe 6 total. You need to raise your account level to 100 to get it though.

There's a number of assignment based armour unlocks, some are level gated though.
There's loot drops from the helmet random event (find a glowing helmet on floot, scan it, follow terrain scanner and dig to loot), which sometimes have paintjobs too.
The season pass has a bunch of stuff.
And, should you wish to support the continued support of free content drops, the DLC.

If you don't like the base armors, I'm not sure you'd like the 3 DLC ones either.

They even updated the old armors recently.
Sorry but it just your taste. There is several very cool looking armor.

Yeah, the other 3 downloadable armours are Cyber-Enforcer dwarf, hard-working dwarf and section 8, drapped-in-the-skin-of-my-enemies dwarf. The former of those is much more boring IMO than anything in the base game, so unless you like really goofy stuff or slightly more grounded "blue collar" type armour, the fashion in DRG might just not speak to you :(. Hopefully not a deal breaker for you; there's still a lot of worthwhile unlocks to earn besides cosmetics.

I agree that the majority of the base shop armors (MK 1-5) aren’t the best, especially on driller. Scout is a pretty weak one too. I like MK 5 on Gunner and Engineer, and I think they should add more variety in the other two classes, since they all pretty much look the same in their tiers.

I mean this is a first person shooter, how your character looks is not that important. That said, I personally find no issues with the armors available to us.

If you don't even know how many kinds of armor there are, I guess it might be too soon for you to judge the paintjobs. It's likely that you don't own most of them.

Im main Scout and Im using T2 from shop cause it's the only barely decent for me. But its so.. basic. I like the DLC ones, that's why im asking if DLC are the only place to get different skins.

Strongly disagree. It's not important how my character looks but still we have like 236432 cosmetic items including eyebrews. Its important apparently ;)

I have like 10 paints maybe? And honestly, Im usually running with the supporter edition one cause it doesn't look like washed up pajama :P But yeah, I agree that maybe I don't have the "good looking" paints yet and that affects my view.

It would be nice if the armor was modular like the pickaxe but I guess it would be a lot of work to design. I'm sure we'll get a few new armors when the new season starts.
