Core infuser how to???

I promoted ALL my dwarves, the wiki tells me that thats what I need to do.

So where are the core...things to open it then??

You get one from the weekly core hunt and one from the deep dive an another from the elite deep dive.

promoting once just gives you the key to activate machine events, you then have to do the weekly core hunt and the deep dives to get blank matrix cores to use on core infusers.

After you get blank cores as described above, you then find a machine event during a mission and start it with the core infuser nearby. After you beat it, the core infuser will open, then you can insert a blank core for a reward.

the first mission in the weekly every week gives you an empty matrix

Did you complete the "Breach the Core" assignment? After completing it, you'll get your Weekly Core Hunt assignment - refreshed once per week on Thursdays.

Also, completing Deep Dives and Elite Deep Dives gives you cores. Be aware that each set of reward can be claimed only once per week - also refreshed on Thursdays.

Tried it...its pretty tough to chew and tastes moldy.

Well they don't explain it in game at the machine, but they do explain it when you promoted your dwarf.

It is unfortunate that they haven't made sure the miner's manual has a section about the forge or deep dives.

Actually, this is a good idea. Machine events should be covered in the Miner's manual in gmae.
