Just get in one that didn't start yet or host your own and be patient.
SIde Notes: Deep Dives are usually long and if your host, if you quit the deep dive is over for everybody. Also you cant join deep dives mid game, you can only join when a deep dive has been selected by someone and before the deep dive has begun. You can only get the rewards for a deep dive once so if you complete the deep dive you already have all the rewards, playing a second time wont get you the rewards again until a week has pass and new deep dives are in. Final note, there are two deep dives, regular and elite, regular is basically normal difficulty while elite is hard, like hard hard, so its usually best to wait until you get better upgraded gear and get some great overclocks for your weapons before attempting an elite. Hoped this help, Rock and Stone.
(Also you can only play with your promoted miner, so lets say if you promoted only gunner, you cant play the other classes until you promoted them aswell)
I don't remember in the old days Dives defaulting to private, but they absolutely do now. I get caught by that all the time.
I had no idea the game done this lol. I sat looking for a normal Deep Dive yesterday for around 15 minutes with nobody joining.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
