Yes, it's set at 120 fps in both windowed and fullscreen mode.
Yes, I tried that, but then I experience tearing on the screen. I do get 120 fps though. What I need is fullscreen with vsync enabled at 120 fps, so I can play with HDR on. Somehow the vsync seems to decrease my fps to 60 in fullscreen, but not in windowed mode. Both windows and Nvidia control panel is set to 120hz, and that's what my desktop is running at. I don't quite understand why it decreases my fps to 60hz in fullscreen.
Might wanna tweak the option or ur monitor setting.
Yes, yes I do. I can never go back to 60fps gaming.
With Vsync? I've tried most settings, just can't seem to make it go 120 with vsync. Not sure what settings on my TV I should tweak, it works great with all other games like cyberpunk. I got 120hz settings in both nvidia controll panel and windows.
It naturally depends on the game. I do play older games like baldurs gate 2, but that game doesn't really require high fps. 3D-shooters on the other hand I have to say no. It's so much smooter and higher response time, that I can't go back.
Search for game mode in Windows 10. Turn it on if it's off. Then click graphic settings in the upper right section.
Make sure Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling is on.
Variable refresh rate is on.
Reboot. Then see if it starts working.
