Co-op game means teamwork!
After seeing how majority of people online haven't figured this out despite some of them being high lv, I just thought I'd share a little wisdom with all the idiots thinking this is Skyrim or something: DRG is, by its core, a teamwork based game. You have to work together, especially on higher difficulties, and not wander off alone or do other stupid ♥♥♥♥. You wanna be Rambo go solo or refund this game and buy some singleplayer title instead.
Thank you.

9 times out of 10 when I join players do not communicate. It's easier to just go off and do your own thing when no one listens to anyone. Yes, I am a high level and yes I am guilty of running off. That being said I am a team player if the team has good communication and not just assume others know what you want. You don't have to use voice, there is an in-game text chat for a reason.

Even with communication people often just run around. Even if they agree to work as a team in the chat they end up running around.
Srsly do they give autists vouchers for this game or something?

Incorrect. "Coop" means "deathmatch" in street slang, at least according to the rife teamkilling in coop games over the years. :)

I wish there were more enemies that 'pin' you requiring a teammate to save you like the leech or grabber as a way to punish players for running off and not playing with the team.

Then you would be playing left 4 dead. And honestly that would be terrible.

Actual text chat is unnecessary in the vast majority of situations. Given context awareness, the ability to mark things or draw attention to things, and basic virtual body language, most team communication tends to happen in an unspoken manner.

...Unless of course somebody isn't paying attention to such things, and runs off into the distance, in which case they miss out on a lot of effortless team communication...

I just expect everyone to know what they're doing and what they should be doing at all times thus no need for communication.
As I ping this wall 18 times waiting for a platform, pickaxe to it, and get platform after I mined it

aslong as people stay together thats all thats matter nothing more annoying then people splitting up and calling the mule between eachother.

Juggling the mule can be done, but it requires excellent teamwork to pull off. I have one friend I can do it with under the right circumstances (usually low haz egg hunts), but we have to be constantly talking back and forth about it and planning both of our bags to juggle it in such a way that it shows up when we need it instead of waiting for it to meander over after the fact.

Engineer: Platforms
Scout: Lights
Driller: Drilling
Gunner: Ziplines

These are each classes top priority. Not getting sick kill counts. When one of these things is not being done it slows everyone down and can lead to less resources, which means more enemies and less ammo. You can be amazing at FPS games, but you won't be great at DRG until you understand this.

The second most important thing is situational awareness. Knowing where to fight and what tools to use. Then I'll take some shooting skills.

Usually I find a teammate and do things - if the owner of the game wants to control the molly -- that's cool -- I don't mind "mining" and leaving the resources for the owner to come pick up.

I also don't mind drilling out all the blue gems, eggs, and morkite and then just leaving them on the ground if you want to control the molly. That's fine.
