Relatar um problema com a tradução
Did you go around asking players, since I find it interesting how people tend to make suggestions for larger groups of people, by themselves.
When you give people very limited amount of weapons and tools they are only fun for a certain amount of time. Some will have fun for longer but these people are often the bigger fan of the game.
It's the same reason you don't eat the same food every single day for weeks. You'll get tired of it.
More ways to kill enemies tend to be more fun too.
But if you cant offer some unique and fitting weapons its pointless.
Quite wrong. If you like what you eat and do not care about diversity it is exactly what you do.
Yeah, whenever you can, try eating pizza for a whole month. Now I'd imagine this would be an health issue but you can always pick kids sized pizza if it's a problem. Still enough food on it for a meal.
So why are you not eating tacos every day? They shouldn't be that expensive.
There are more people who care about a diverse eating schedule than those who will literally eat one thing for the rest of the year. Everyone at my job tries to avoid eating at the same place twice. In a week. Well there was an exception as it was an Asian lady running a small restaurant but we would at most go there 3 days in a week. If was often twice. Sadly she sold her place and we had to find other places.
The people who can use the same weapon for months on end are the hardcore fans of the games but they are always in a minority. They are always the last one to leave and when they do when the game barely have players they'll state how great the game was.
anyway, i think new guns is definitely gonna happen after 1.0. but i wouldnt expect every class to get a new primary and secondary in one update, i imagine itll be a slow trickle where 1-2 classes get a new gun every update or two. that seems like a healthy way to do it
Consider that every weapon has about 6 overclocks on average, and somewhere around 12 or so upgrade mods, multiply both of those by 8 since you're going for four primaries and four secondaries.
You get roughly 84 mods and 48 overclocks to have to deal with balancing on top of the two already existent sets of a primary and secondary each dwarf has as well as all their mods and overclocks.
Even that seems like a quite monumental thing to deal with, let alone getting into the prospect of more than a third set per dwarf.
I believe they're more liable to set about adding more overclocks that change weapons even more drastically than they are to add entirely new weapons.
Take the Deepcore 40mm GL for instance, you can turn it into a mini-nuke launcher or you can turn it into a 40mm anti-materiel rifle with overclocks as it stands.
Why not just add onto it and other weapons by adding yet more unstable overclocks to make them effectively function as entirely new weaponry while still being far more reasonable to balance?
„No one wants to use the same hammer for nailing, people like to use chainsaws, pencils and knives too for such tasks!“
Lemme tell you a little secret, you can. Did a similar thing when in college .... :D
Clearly, you don't know hat it's like to live with a woman lol. It's not that I can't afford to, I'm just not allowed to.
There was a time I could have, but I like them a lot more than they like me now, if you get what I'm saying? Lol.
I don't believe the current set of weapons have been perfected, but they are really damn good. That makes me even more excited for a wave of new weapons to get our hands on and test out. Even one new set adds so much more variety and combinations to explore.
Yes it takes a lot of work to add new weapons to the game, but the expectation they will be perfect on first release is unrealistic. Weapons consistently receive adjustments and new components.
As to feeling limited within one class, it is well worth it to check out other classes as much as possible. I recently got my Legendary Team achievement. In the beginning I thought Driller was all I would ever play, but now I truly love Scout and can't get enough. Try making builds other people haven't thought of.
Check out my weapon wishlist:

Tool comparison isn't a good one because they are tools for work. Guns in a game are for entertainment. Food is a better one because you can chose to eat what you want so if you wanted you could try to eat the same thing at all times.
With a hammer you need to use a hammer or an nail gun but if you don't have the later you just have to use the hammer. There isn't much in terms of variation with hammers other than looks.
Weapons could have all sorts of variation because not all weapons are the same.
Then find a food you both like and try having that for a whole month. There are still good things to eat other than pizza. Odds are your wife will put a stop to it because it's the same thing too for the entire week and that's boring.
