How can I reset perks?

After patch 28 I leveled my perks according to paper.
As it turned out, many did not hold up to their description or got nerfed every way possible.

So please give us an option to make the best out of this perk mess please.

Just to clarify: you know that the "pool of bought perks" is meant, not the perks forever assigned to a class?

I kinda agree. I thought some of these perks would work a lot differently or would be better than they are. I'd really like to reinvest in some other options and get rid of others. I'd be willing to spend credits/minerals to do it too.

I was pretty sad to log on today and find out that I can no longer reach the last perk slot. With the new system I'm now 30+ points away from being able to get the perks I had last week.

Next patch is going to make it much easier to afford things. It's already in experimental so it won't be long before it hits full release and you can buy everything again.

I haven't done the math but I assume they adjusted the perk points to the new milestones, which means, that you'll have to grind those deep dives and weekly assingments now if you want to unlock all the perks. And since that progression is time limited, it is guaranteed that it'll take you a year or however much long to unlock all of them.
They raised the amount of points you need to unlock all the perks without warning the players and they didn't even give us the ability to reset the points...dissapointing choices again.

The current experimental branch has some big changes for the entire milestone and perk point balancing.

When this update goes live, everybody will have more milestone progress and perk points points to spend. All perks will be refunded again and it will cost less to unlock them.
I estimate that everybody should be able to unlock twice as many perks than before.

There are 46 more perk points than you need to unlock everything, which means that you don't have to finish the hazard 5 and EDD milestones.

I logged into the game since way before perks existed and just bought everything my points would allow. If they don't allow a way to change where those points were spent then the game is dead to me.

Just gave this game it's only negative review from the looks of it. Sorry, this is an issue for me. It wasn't made clear in any way that you would be unable to reset your perks. If it had, I would have gone to bed a two in the morning and waited until I did some research. As it stands, my friends were rushing me along and I rushed, played a fun game, figured by all the gold everywhere that I would be able to reset. Go figure.

Not even a single reset when there is no in-game indication that choices are permanent is just bad.

Perk points get handed out like candy and there's more available than possible to spend. Live frivolously and dangerous for once in your life.

No refunds, just save up more perk points. There's like 60+ extra perk points that you can't use because you just get everything.

I am going to say 2 things.

1. This thread was necroed from February.

2. You get so many perk points for doing regular missions that I completed all of mine like 3 months ago, and I currently have 30 extra points from the new perk tasks that where added in the new update. Just play the game. Just like with cosmetics, overclocks, pickaxe parts, and beer licenses, you will get everything. Eventually. Just enjoy the game and don't be a stickler over the smallest things that in the long run isn't something worth wasting energy on to complain.

Accumulating stuff IS the progression in this game. You're going to get those "useless" (they're not useless) perks anyway.
