It's more useful on hitting enemies than it is for mining.
ask yourself this: if the developers (the ones who code the game) think something is a bug... what right do any of us as players have to say otherwise? remember, there is a difference between making suggestions to developers, and suggesting that an exploit should be left in the game. it ultimately comes down to the developers intentions. they removed q-mining for a reason, they didn't just do it to spite people. obviously they don't want people to be able to mine faster than they already can, except through the usage of the beer buff.
Click once, no hold, it goes through the entire animation before firing again.
Also, it is not significantly faster and this method has been around for a while under the radar (literally since the day they patched Q mining, fairly sure there is a thread on it from that day), it's too much work for roughly 20-30% faster swing speed when timing errors and lag are taken into account.
Old Q mining could *almost* double your mining rate on a regular basis by comparison.
that isn't the case today since it's so minimal, and the chance to miss it makes it not worth it
nearly all your reasoning is based off anecdotal data. you can't know for sure if the new animation affects ALL players in a bad way. just the same way you can't know for sure how many users were using the q-mining trick.
you can have your opinion on how mining should be implemented, but don't start making things up to justify your opinion. i personally don't see the issue with the way mining works right now, you hold right click, the pickaxe swings and hits, and you continue holding right click. literally what is the different from before? unless you're the type of player who wants to right click a single time for every swing, then by all means, you do you. but i highly doubt that a majority of players are pressing right click once for every pickaxe swing.
and yes, if the developers see an exploit that very obviously shouldn't be in the game, we really don't have rights as a player to go against that. like come on... you REALLY think that cancelling a pickaxe swing as soon as it hits to have your player's arm teleport back into position for another swing is even justifiable? mining is pretty much half of the game itself. if people think it's too slow, they can tell that to the developers. but keeping an exploit on the down low so that only a few players can gain an advantage from it in a game where, once again, mining is half of the gameplay... yeah no. that doesn't really make sense, now does it?
