Valve: post-endgame content?

I don't think I'm the only one who loves the hell out of Alyx's gameplay but has beaten the game several times now. It'd be cool to have some extra content to keep people coming back to the game. Some ideas:

- a Survival/Arena mode challenging the player to hold out against waves of enemies for as long as they can
- Very Hard mode with highly difficult gameplay tuning, more enemies etc.
- a permadeath mode for the truly masochistic players out there

It just needs a New Game+ mode where you keep your weapons and resin. I searched hard and found only about half the resin, so restarting would mean I could finally check out the full power guns

Drops are based on diffucilty, so the more easiers the more ammo and resins you find, while on hard ammo and resins spawn are very reduced (think of upgrading 1 gun and a half to max).
