If you look at: https://store.steampowered.com/app/546560/HalfLife_Alyx/
You have to scroll down and then you'll see it.
These are the minimum requirements, I know there is also one named recommended but I guess if the minimum requirements are specified, it will also be the recommended ones or atleast if you have better components than the minimum requirements, ofc it should run better.
Benchmark to that game doesn't exist, maybe a Demo will exist probably.
But a test tool exists to see if your PC is ready for Valve Index https://store.steampowered.com/valveindex
Yep, that's what I basically tried to explain in my answer.
If you're worried about what requirements you need, probably if you have better stuff than the minimum requirements, then probably you'll be able to run the game even better.
In my opinion.
Also game size is not on the shop either but it's there for those that pre-loaded it, but not on the shop.
Well, it depends on what benchmark tool you're talking about. One that you can download before you buy the game or one within the game but that would require you to get the game first?
'Benchmark Tool' arrives 5pm GMT on Monday.
source?
Exactly this.
You can benchmark a PC to see if it's capable of meeting minimum requirements for VR then after that, all bets are off depending on your headset of choice. A Rift S is less taxing on your hardware than a Pimax 8K so you need to figure it out for yourself.
OPs been given the minimum spec. Not sure what else he wants as nothing else can be given currently.
Thats minimum spec for ALL commercial headsets to get stable performance obviously (since we know Valve tested them). Anything above the spec will mean you can tweak the game a little.
