Does it take a very long time to be pro?
I don't know if some of you are a pro at this game but:

- To be one of the top 10 players in world, How many months it takes?

Do you mean this game is pay to win?
It doesn't take you money to become pro, it takes you time. Money helps you gain advantage over average players, but what you need is to do is learn the game in depth. You need to know all the relevant cards and you need to be able to react to any kind of opposing deck. I have no idea how long that takes but you can watch videos from professional players like JKing7 and you'll learn that they spend countless hours playing, refining decks and learning all the nuances of the game. No money can buy you the experience that you gain from hours and hours of playing every day. Therefore the question of how many months it will take you will largely depend on your general commitment.

Thanks a lot Sushi.
balance wise - this game is trash - so why should you even try

Balance wise it is trash, but even worse, tactics and strategy wise, it is mindless.
There are no "pros" at this game.
You have to be a little sweet asia boy....

Just by asking this question I can tell you, you won't make it into top 10. I mean, do you really expect there is a formula for this? How can anyone except ofr the top 10 give you any number? And why would their number apply to YOU!? Top 10 isn't something you can do your homework for and after x months it will be yours. You need to be better than everybody else which means the time you need (in addition to talent) is directly dependant on how much time the current Top 10 invests.

EDIT:
Oh and

knowing all the cards, decks, play styles, metas is probably an important factor.

when i start to get competitive i have less fun. I rather go in with the intention to just have fun, and if i win then cool.

I think the pros are genuinely crazed about this game. and is why they are pros.

...and OP never said " how long for ME" or I - it was just general question from person/newcomer about the game one got excited about - that's how I saw it - apart from that there's never reason to trample over people any given situations anyways ...

and maybe some food for thought - WHAT IF this person was actually pro in "disguise" ? :)

it's a bit of a trend nowadays - isn't it ? -- to test how people treat him as a newbie ?
What's it with all that spite in here? Imo he OP asked a valid question and did so in a friendly and polite way. No reason to flame him for that.

The question asked is quite silly (because it's both pointless and cannot be answered in any meaningful manner. And the hostility over any perceived hostility is at least equally uncalled for ;) I also ask you, why he would ask this kind of question if he didn't intend to make it to top 10 himself. But yeah, seems like you are all bored, so feel free to continue, it's not like there are reserve announcments to discuss or anything like that :steammocking:
no but game is arranged
pro means nothing
Pro? Honestly given the amount of cheating that infests this game (which could be GREAT)... it's hard to say "Pro" with any meaning. I give this game a chance every now and then, and I do notice LESS cheating, but I still notice. The most common cheat by far is the "boot" cheat. You are in a given match, your opponent (with letters usually NOT English so its hard to report them) conveniently boots you off the server and you lose several turns. You could have been winning when you were booted, but you certainly are not now.
