KARDS - The WWII Card Game

KARDS - The WWII Card Game

Multiple accounts
It often happens to me that I get similar opponent decks in a row. I can see only two explanations for that. Either the algorithm arranges my opponents, or there are many players here with multiple accounts. Either way, it's kinda annoying. What would motivate people to open multiple accounts and give them similar decks?

Bots as well as people just copy existing decks. Multiple accounts would be a chore considering that they still need to build a collection.
I rarely see "unique" assortments, but that's just how the most effective tactics work.

It would be nice to see how many cards are actually used and how often from the full roster.

I have that as well, though not always. Yesterday I played three games in a row against asian opponents (based on their names), each of them using a japanese self kredit-denial deck. Might have something to do with the amount of active players at the time of play and local preferences. For example, during daytime on the asian continent one will probably encounter more asian players and if these have certain preferences it increases the probability of certain matchups. Same with US and european players.
There are some very active communities out there that study the game and suggest 'optimal' decks to each other. If one of those decks gets real popular it's not unusual to see it appear regularly in your opponent's hands. That kind of hive mind effect isn't something I'm personally keen on but to each their own. I like making my own decks even if they're not particularly effective.
The 'copy deck' function they added to Kards not too long ago may have increased the amount of people playing similar/identical decks?

I'm still very ambiguous on that feature. I believe it lowers the barrier for people to just copy-paste popular meta-decks and it helps spreading those decks. On the other hand, it can widen your horizon when you run into an interesting deck and you think "Hm, I never considered this could work".

Today I had three consecutive games with three different opponent accounts and every one was opened with the Finnish tank card that is not THAT often played. It just seems like too much of a coincidence to me.

Karmington said already in another post that currently the matchmaking is buggy. At times you don't get any human opponent at all even in peak times.
