번역 관련 문제 보고
They did revise artwork in the past when the type or model wasn't fitting but not to fix angles to show prominent features ... and I think they don't need to. For one, let's be honest, there are more important things to focus on.
But, more importantly, while I understand your concern, I also appreciate variety and the artist's visions. If they all have to adhere to style guidelines, the pictures will all start to look similar. This happened to Magic. Look at the early, original pictures of the first couple of sets. You'll find all kinds of styles, strange perspectives and so on. Yes, there were artworks that I thought were ugly but that's a matter of taste and I pretty much preferred the old artwork as a whole over the new ones because of the variety. After 30 years of Magic it's almost exclusively the old artwork that has become iconic, even when it's on cards that aren't played that often.
Now, back to Kards: This game has a WWII setting. The number of units that can be represented in the game is limited. We more or less already have all of the tanks, bombers etc. covered, including obscure ones that didn't enter service like Kikka where only 2 prototypes were finished. So, if the game will still exist in 5 more years, they'll be forced to release variations of existing units, like they already did with the Tiger for example. And THAT means you'll most likely get another Wolverine, for example the M10C variant, which will have new artwork and maybe they'll tingle all your funny bones this time :)
That said, I too am old and still remember my Matchbox plastic soldiers. I'm pretty sure the Afrika Korps infantry is taken from it, as the Japanese elite unit that can get guard.
Thanks for the link Dub.
